Aeria Games is undeniably one of the most successful MMORPG publishers today. With currently thirteen MMORPG’s in their service, it is pretty much possible that you have already played one of their games.
But for now, let’s take a peek on one of the earliest games Aeria Games has published: Last Chaos.
Last Chaos, being an old free MMORPG, is pretty much inferior in a lot of aspects to the much more recent games like Runes of Magic or Allods Online. However, being old doesn’t mean bad. Vintage perhaps, but there are times that vintage is good. And Last Chaos is one of them.

Even for an old game, Last Chaos has a decent character class tree. There are five gender-locked classes in the game, all of which branch out into two alternative class paths. The Titans, Knights and Sorcerers are the male classes, while the Mages, Rogues and Healers are the females. The Titans, which branch off into either Highlanders or Warmasters, are the brute class of Last Chaos, taking pride in their immense strength and size in overpowering foes. Knights deal the lowest damage among all the classes, but boasts high defense and fast regeneration.

They can become dual-wielding Royal Knights or shielded Templar Knights. Sorcerers are a summoning class but also sport powerful spells; they also have Elementalist or Specialist as a class upgrade. Mages, the female counterpart of Sorcerers, are the primary magic class of Last Chaos which branch off to either Witches or Warlocks. Rogues are the glass cannons of Last Chaos, specializing in stealth, and have Assassins or Hunters as alternative job promotions. Healers, the party support can on the other hand become Clerics or Archers.

Honestly, Last Chaos has some pretty attack animations. It also sports a terrific list of pets and mounts that can aid the player. When tired of the usual grind, gamers can choose to craft items using Last Chaos’ good crafting system. And challenge will never stop, since Last Chaos has a fairly high level cap.
If you want something new, unique, or better looking, then by all means avoid Last Chaos. But if you are willing to settle for the “decent” games, or tired of the glamour of the new ones in the MMORPG list, then also by all means try playing Last Chaos. The fact that it is still one of Aeria Games’ MMORPG’s that are in service proves that Last Chaos isn’t really a bad game. It just got beaten by time.
